Annual Pancake Supper
On Strove Tuesday, St. Peter's holds a pancake supper for the community. The dinner is your choice of sausage or scrapple with apple or cherry pie for dessert along with all the pancakes you can eat. We take great pride in the pancakes served as it is made with our own batter recipe from the early 1900's. It is a great time to come out and meet people around the community.

Annual Spring Tea
Each spring, St. Peter’s hosts a cherished tradition — our Annual Spring Tea. This lovely gathering brings together family and friends to celebrate the end of the winter season and the long awaited arrival of Spring. Guests enjoy delicious treats, warm fellowship, and beautiful table settings. Whether you come with family or join new friends at your table, it’s a joyful afternoon filled with love, laughter, and gratitude.

Flags for Heroes
Each year, St. Peter’s honors the heroes in our lives through the Flags for Heroes display. Nearly a hundred American flags are proudly flown at the St. Peter's Cemetery—each one dedicated to a hero, past or present. These flags stand as powerful symbols of gratitude and remembrance for those who have made a difference in our lives—veterans, first responders, teachers, family members, and friends. It’s a moving tribute that brings our community together in reflection, pride, and thankfulness.

Each year, on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, St. Peter’s joins with the Smyrna-Clayton Ministerium to host a free community Thanksgiving Dinner, open to all. Together, local churches and volunteers prepare and serve a hearty holiday meal with all the trimmings, offering food, fellowship, and gratitude. Whether dining in or taking a meal to go, guests are welcomed with warmth and kindness as we give thanks together for the blessings of community and shared generosity.
